So, we may have mentioned it once or twice, but we threw our third Club Brunch party at the weekend - and we had a BLAST.
We were back in our favourite venue, upstairs at Palm 2 - now even bigger and better than before - and there were the beginnings of some festive cheer (if only in some hungover heads from the start of Christmas party season) as we cooked up brunch for almost 60 people.
We served up smoked salmon blinis as an amuse bouche, then either croissant egg nests (for everyone who asked, here's the recipe) with Gilly's baked ham and spinach or lemon and ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote, vanilla creme fraiche and toasted almonds.
The 'build your own Bellini' bar went down a storm as did the bloody marys, Chorley's Gin Ginger Zinger and the Blanc de Blancs cocktail from our friends at Codorniu with their delicious Anna de Codorníu Blanc de Blancs Cava.
