Well, this is sad news. The Clove Club crew have announced they're officially leaving one of our favourite restaurants, Upstairs At The Ten Bells in Shoreditch.
The gang - Isaac McHale, Daniel Willis and Johnny Smith - have been involved in the venue at the top of the famous Jack The Ripper pub since their Young Turks pop-up days back in 2012 and we've enjoyed many a long, boozy lunch and dinner upstairs in the historic pub. Now the trio have announced they're passing the foodie baton on to Giorgio Ravelli and Jarrod Cooke, who will be taking over kitchen with the new management instead.
So let's cheers them with the memory of that beautiful buttermillk fried chicken and pine salt, shall we? Actually, strike that, let's get down to The Clove Club in Shoreditch Town Hall and continue to make that dream a reality.

It is with a mixture of regret and excitement that we have to inform you - we are no longer involved in Upstairs at The Ten Bells.
Our time at the pub has been an amazing journey from the first days of The Young Turks residency to the next generation of Upstairs led by Giorgio and Jarrod. Giorgio and Jarrod are going to stay on with the new owners and are already helping to shape the new food and drink offering for the pub as a whole.
We are sad to be leaving but wish them and the new management the best of luck. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us over the years - guests, staff, friends and family!
We hope to see you at The Clove Club soon!
