We kicked off our pop-up brunch party in style - and with plenty of booze - on Saturday September 13 in Candela, Clapton. And once those doors opened, we didn't stop until 3pm, serving 85 hungry diners and taking the party global going by also broadcasting our DJ sets live on www.meattransmission.com.
Hoi Polloi chef Joe Ryan smashed it with his Mediterranean-inspired dishes of warm tomato salad with chorizo, feta and avocado on sourdough toast or the delicious red pepper Spanish tortilla with radish salad and gazpacho dressing.
The cocktail menu pulled a punch - spicy Bloody Marys, Mimosas and our cocktail of the day, The Clapton Twink, vodka, prosecco and elderflower.
Music on the day was provided by James Rand, Nick Griffiths, Johnno from Bugged Out! and Richie Rundle.
