Popping up: 23rd - 25th October

It's all praise the mighty Udon on Friday, as Japanese supperclub Monograph are back to showcasing their favourite noodles. They will be served as part of a three-courser with 24-hour miso-marinated salmon, yuzu-infused mackerel and dessert will be little chocolate mochi and matcha pancakes. It takes place in a basement venue in Dalston, it's BYOB and tickets cost £29 from here.

Always wanted to check out Billingsgate Market? Well, there's always our guide to braving the market on your own, but there's also a class by the Seafood School on Saturday that will pair some of the market's best produce with some fine English wines. The English Wine and Fantastic British Seafood class has a menu (made by the guests) that includes cockles on laver bread, queen scallops and hot-smoked sea trout with pickled cucumber and will have wines paired by master of wine, Stephen Skelton. It's also half price at the moment at just £45 - bargain. It's an early start at 9.15 and tickets are available here.

Well, doesn't this just sound like a Roald Dahl story? The Old Street Adventure of Crumbling Apple is not actually a kids book, but a new supperclub from The Fabulous Adventures of 698B. The duo (including a head-chef from Brittany with 12 years experience of working in high-end restaurants) are bringing their culinary adventures to Old Street. They will be cooking up a seasonal four-course feast of mushroom and chestnut polenta, beetroot and gin cured salmon, followed by pheasant with girolles and finishing with crumbling apples, which we assume is some form of apple crumble. There's also a little Damon fizz cocktail to kick proceedings off. Tickets cost £35 from here and it starts at 7pm.
