Popping up: 20th - 23rd November



This is your chance to eat supper at one of Hackney's most historic landmarks: Sutton House. The National Trust house will be hosting Mazi Mas - a social enterprise roaming kitchen supporting women from refugee and migrant communities - who will be cooking up a four-courser with flavours from all over the world. On the table includes dishes like green plantain and avocado canapes, mango, cashew and mint salad, baked pollack with cinnamon and tamarind, saffron rice and for dessert, pineapple and dolce de leche pave - a sort of Brazilian trifle. Tickets cost £35 from here, it starts at 7.30pm and it's BYOB.

The Waterhouse Project

Ever fancied eating at seriously deluxe chef's own house? Here's your chance, as Galvin La Chapelle chef, Gabriel Waterhouse, is leaving his fancy-pants kitchen for the evening for a pop-up dinner in his Bethnal Green abode. He's hosting The Waterhouse Project, a five-course meal including heritage beetroots with goats curd on sourdough, smoked haddock risotto and then spiced Moroccan lamb with apricots and dates. Then, there's chilled chocolate fondants for dessert, followed by a cheese board, and finally coffee and petit fours. All this, plus it's BYOB and it's just £38. The feasting begins at 7.30 and you can get tickets from here



Veneti Kitchen are celebrating the art of the Venetian cicchetti - little Italian snacks - upstairs at Palm 2 on Saturday. The expansive menu will start with six different small plates, including pumpkin and mozzarella arancini, cuttlefish with tomato sauce on polenta, fresh crab meat gnocchi, with a main of roast wild rabbit with chanterelles, red cabbage and rabbit pate croute. Dessert - of course - is tiramisu. Tickets cost £47 from here and the event runs from 7.30pm until 11.45pm.



If it's been a heavy weekend, a Happy Ending on Monday night should sort you out, right? That is, if Happy Endings for you is a dessert. Terri Mercieca from Fraise Sauvage is taking over Chomping Ground favourite Eat 17 for a pudding-only pop-up for one night only. On the menu will be a delicious range of sweets - like quince tart tatin with buckwheat custard and red wine caramel - that you can either enjoy a la carte, or as part of a tasting menu. There are £20 tickets available from here that will get you a cocktail, a dessert canape, a dessert plate, coffee or tea and petit fours. Pretty sweet, huh? Runs from 6.30pm until 11pm.
