It was the bank holiday, so what better way to celebrate than some delicious food, breakfast cocktails and tunes from some of our favourite DJs?
We took over the cool Senegalese cafe, Little Baobab, in Lower Clapton on Saturday and maestro of the kitchen was our guest chef, Joseph Ryan from Hoi Polloi. He cooked up a lil amuse bouche of poached rhubarb with vanilla yoghurt and toasted nuts, smoked salmon hash with Sriracha creme fraiche and the immensely popular black pudding bubble with crispy fried duck egg and homemade brown sauce.
We shaked, stirred and blended our way through loads of Bloody Marys, Mimosas and the cocktail of the day, May Day Murmur - a pineapple and rosemary vodka cooler.
The soundtrack was provided by the excellent Ty Bulmer (NYPC) and Naomi (Totem) and special thanks go to Khadim from Little Baobab for making it all happen and to Vivan Thi Tang for all the photos.
Thanks for coming and see you at the next Club Brunch!
