Popping up: 5th - 7th June



The Italian Supper club are joining forces with E5 Bakehouse and throwing their next dinner party at the bakery's terrace. It's a four-course extravaganza with the best of Italian produce and the menu includes lamb and cumin skewers, homemade tagliolini with smoked anchovies and aromatic butter, wing rib roast, crumbled blue cheese with braised onion and a lavender baba with thyme cream and peaches to finish. The weather looks like it'll be great this weekend, so hopefully there'll be a little al fresco drink outside, too. Tickets cost £37.50 from here


Or, there's fun to be had down the NOLA way - or Hackney Empire's Platterform bar, at least. Slap Ya Papa is serving up a night of Louisiana food and entertainment, so expect a shot of "fyah", summery slaw with tasty morsels, big bowls of gumbo and Key Lime pie. Tickets cost £26.40 from here and it all starts at 7.30pm 



Friday also sees the launch of our favourite summer rooftop pop-up, Coppa, by the guys from Lardo. Expect Italian-inspired BBQ dishes, summery cocktails and perfect sundowner snacks. It's open from 5pm on Fridays, and from midday on Saturday and Sunday and, as ever, is on the Hothouse Roof overlooking London Fields on Martello St. More deets here.



Sunday night is all about the return of the excellent Breakfast of Champions pop-up by chef Jamie Allan at Hill & Szrok. There's actually no breakfast at all on offer, just a seven-course evening feast spanning all sorts of exciting flavours and food pairings - Jamie previously worked at Le Chateaubriand in Paris and has definitely taken inspiration from this for his dishes. He tells us to expect burrata, hake and lamb on the menu this time - you'll have to book a place to see what magic he conjures up with these ingredients.
