If you're looking for a fishy feast to start your weekend, then the White Room Supper Club is the one for you. On the back of their successful Good Friday fish supper earlier this year, they're cooking up another pescetarian seven-courser. On the menu is smoked salmon and dill tartlets, crostini with mackerel pate, spicy scallops, lemon and parsley roasted salmon with Champagne and chive sauce and mini cheesecakes to finish. It takes place in Islington from 7.30pm and tickets cost £37.50 from here.
Continuing on the whole brexercising thing (yep, like 'Fetch!', we're still trying to make that happen) it's the Bare Fit Brunch from Love Club Suppers on Saturday. At 11am, there will be a high-intensity fitness class, followed by a three-course vegan brunch that includes almond butter, raspberry and superfood smoothie, crispy quinoa cakes, chick pea, broccoli and tahini salad, beetroot humous and raw chocolate brownies and berries. Could your weekend get any healthier? (Note: you'll definitely deserve to spend the rest of it in the park mainlining cider afterwards.) Tickets cost £35 from here and it takes place in Islington.
If you're around Dalston Lane this weekend, The 3 Compasses are taking a trip down Mexico way. La Jacana pop-up will be doing just that for three days at the boozer, cooking up tacos, pozoles (stew) and sopes (corn tortillas with toppings). The food costs from £2.50 to £7 and they'll be firing up the kitchen from midday. More deets here.
For a supperclub with a difference, Amy's Kitchen are hosting A Handcrafted Summer - a series of crafty suppers in the pretty setting of the E5 Bakehouse from Tuesday 14. On the menu will be a range of delicious vegetarian dishes with tasty summer salads from The Panther's Whiskers and after dining, each of the evenings will have a different craft activity for diners to take part in. To start will be a foraged cocktail making session with Lottie Muir, the next week will be ceramic painting with Charlotte Mei, the following event will be a natural beauty workshop, finishing with a wild flower arranging class. Ticket cost just £10 from here and Tuesday's event kicks off at 7pm.
