Popping up: 21st - 23rd August

The guys behind Monograph Japanese supper club have branched out with Supersonic, four Friday evenings of sushi in the basement of a Dalston cinema. On the menu are 24 (twenty four!) pieces of sushi each, including saikyo miso salmon with watercress, yuzu smoked mackerel with cucumber and seaweed, spinach with sesame dressing and a selection of Japanese dishes. Tickets cost £29 from here and it's BYOB - time to crack open that sake.

Gumbo Galley are back with a New Orleans inspired dinner - and they've got a hot sauce trolley. We repeat, a hot sauce trolley. Banging! The rest of the meal will include fried green tomatoes with pimiento cheese, cornbread and buttermilk biscuits, a Cajun stew of okra and mushrooms and dessert is praline and homemade ice-cream. The bash takes place in a warehouse inbetween Dalston and Haggerston, ticket cost £25 from here, it starts at 7pm and it's also BYOB, too.

Honk! That's us, blowing our own trumpet as another one of our Club Brunches is rolling into Clapton on Saturday. This time, we've gone for a Mexican kitchen themed event, and on the menu is watermelon with chilli and lime, migas (Mexican scrambled eggs) with chipotle black beans, guacamole and tortillas, finishing off with polvorones (Mexican wedding cookies). We've got tunes from Cadillac Sound System and Mikey Dale, a load of Mexican cocktails (Chipotle Bloody Mary, Micheladas and grilled pineapple and jalapeno margaritas) and it costs just £15 from here. Head down to Little Baobab from 10.30am for a taste of Tulum.

Well this one takes the biscuit for possibly the most out-there pop-up dinner EVER. Dinner Dinner Bat Man....stay with us: it's a former Come Dine With Me winner, who is also a cemetery manager, who is going to be cooking up a three-course foraged dinner with ingredients from the cemetery park, then it's going to end in a bat-spotting walk. It'll certainly be a talking point for the next week. Dinner is nettle soup and artisan breads, ribollita with garlic mustard, rice and salad and cherry plum pie with cream or honey. Tickets cost £22 from here, it takes place in Tower Hamlets from 7pm and it's also BYOB - that's bring your own bat. Jk, it's booze.
