Popping up: 5th - 7th February

Tacu Tacu have launched a new South American-inspired supperclub called Latin Nights, held in a converted Victoria Church in Bethnal Green. It's a four-course menu drawing on some of the delicious dishes to come from that part of the world, so expect aubergine with jalapeno and cashew butter, shrimp and sea bass ceviche, Peruvian-style octopus with black olive aioli and for dessert, mojito cheesecake with dulce de leche cream. Tickets cost a bargainous £15 from here and it runs from 7.30-9.30pm.

Also on Saturday night, there's a supperclub dedicated to seasonal British food to take you on a "gastronomic adventure". The hosts are The Fabulous Old Street Adventures of 698B, who hold their dinner parties in their house just off Old Street (duh). On the menu this weekend is a starter of radishes, pink fir apples and purple sprouting broccoli, halibut with salsify and chard, then there's corn-fed chicken with winter greens and for dessert, blood orange and chocolate. Tickets cost £44 from here, it's BYOB and it kicks off at 7pm.

Where would we be with without the classic fish finger sandwich? Saving millions of housebound people from the fate of a hangry hangover each weekend, there's not a lot this snack can't solve. Which is why street foodies 2 Fingers are serving up The Ultimate Fish Finger Sandwich this weekend, as part of an Acoustic Sunday event in the cafe at St Peter's Church in Hackney. Food will be served from 2pm - 7pm, and it's a donation entry to get in. More details here.
